Elaine's campaign focuses on several key priorities:
Family
Education
Elaine advocates for quality education for every child in District 25. She opposes diverting resources from away from public schools and supports initiatives to strengthen our education system.
Healthcare
Elaine believes in accessible and affordable healthcare for all residents of District 25. As a nurse, she understands the importance of quality care and will fight to ensure everyone can access it. As a small business owner, Elaine has experienced the undue burden that is being placed on small businesses in order to provide healthcare to their employees. Elaine will work to make it easier for small businesses to succeed.
Freedom
Reproductive Rights
Reproductive Rights are on the ballot in 2024. Elaine is a strong supporter of reproductive freedom and healthcare privacy, believing that every woman has the RIGHT to make her own healthcare decisions along with her doctor. We must not allow Government to take away this fundamental and essential right.
Second Amendment and Safe Storage Laws
Elaine supports responsible gun ownership and advocates for safe storage laws, especially when there are minors in the household, in order to prevent accidents and tragedies.
Marijuana Legalization
Elaine supports the legalization of marijuana and use of the resulting tax revenue in order to fund education, provide opioid treatment programs, reduce property taxes and invest in our communities.
Finances
Economic Development
Elaine is committed to fostering a thriving business environment in our community. As a long-time business owner, she knows the challenges that small businesses face.
She'll work to attract investment, create job opportunities, and support local businesses, including initiatives for affordable housing.
Make Georgia a Leader In Green Jobs
The Green Technology and Sustainability Market is expected to grow over 400% by 2030 (source). Elaine will work to actively encourage and support local Green Technology, build out Green Infrastructure and actively work to attract Green Technology investment in her district.
